The Fairytale Village is actually made up of two areas – the old town area, which is where most of the historic buildings and shops are located, and the new town area, which is where you’ll find more modern amenities.

The Fairytale Village is a great place to visit if you’re looking for a unique and magical experience. Fairy stations are located throughout the village, where you can learn your fairy name and even find your fairy in the garden. There are walking trails throughout the entire village that makes a circle. A great way to spend a day in Rastoke Croatia is to wander around the village looking at all of the waterfalls.

The waterfalls of Rastoke are very impressive, some being very complex. The Rastoke waterfalls are worth a visit on at least a day trip. Rastoke has been inhabited since the 11th century. In the 18th century, Rastoke became known for its mills and textile factories. Today, Rastoke is a popular tourist destination, and many visitors come to see the Rastoke Waterfalls each year.

3. Visit the nearby Plitvice Lakes National Park

A great way to unwind after a long day Plitvice Lakes National Park is to have some beers and food at one of the local restaurants with the sounds of the waterfalls all around you. There are several restaurants in Rastoke Village that overlook the waterfalls, and they’re a great place to enjoy a beer and relax. The sound of the waterfalls is very soothing, and it’s a great place to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. Visitors can enjoy a beer while listening to the sound of the cascading water. Rastoke Village is a great place to relax and take in the natural beauty of Croatia. The cute restaurant pictured above, Restoran Petro, has some great beers in an amazing setting. I highly recommend it.

5. Wander the Quaint, Mountain Village Streets

And finally, one of the best things to do in Rastoke Croatia is to simply wander around the town. The town itself is so beautiful and quaint. The town is quite small in size so you should be able to see the entire thing in a day, including the Fairy Village. There are so many little pathways to wander down that you’ll feel like you’ve gotten lost wandering around a storybook village. I can’t recommend a visit to Rastoke Village enough. It was truly one of the highlights of my month in Croatia.

When deciding where to stay in Rastoke Croatia, travelers have a wide range of options to choose from. There are several hotels in the town, each with its own unique charm. Travelers can also find accommodations in private apartments and houses, like in an Airbnb. I stayed in the most beautiful Airbnb which was an old, converted mill. The house itself was directly over the water with its own waterfall. The sounds of the rushing water provided the perfect sleep soundtrack.

No matter where you stay, you’re sure to enjoy the town’s cute streets and buildings. If you’re looking for a more lively atmosphere, consider staying in one of the town’s hotels. These properties tend to be located in the center of town, near all the best shops and restaurants. However, if you prefer a more relaxed vacation, consider renting a private apartment or house. These accommodations are typically located outside of the main town center, providing a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. No matter what your preferences are, you’re sure to find the perfect place to stay in Rastoke Croatia. Even during the busiest of days, this is a quiet town.
