Thailand Travel Guides

Night markets, jungle mountains, and finding your rhythm abroad

Thailand is where my nomad life really began — Chiang Mai was my first long-term base, and I’ve since explored Bangkok’s neighborhoods, the limestone karsts of Krabi and Railay Beach, and the quieter side of islands like Koh Phangan and Koh Samui. These guides cover the practical side of living and traveling here, from visa runs to the best pad thai stalls.

More about Thailand

North and south

I’ve spent more time exploring Thailand than anywhere else in the world, and it’s still my favourite country to travel. One of the things I love most is how much it changes from region to region. You can spend your mornings hiking through mountain villages in the north, then a few days later be relaxing on a tropical island in the south. Add incredible food, friendly locals and endless places to explore, and it’s a destination I never seem to get tired of.

Staying longer

Thailand is one of the easiest countries in the world to settle into, whether you’re staying for a few weeks or several months. My Thailand digital nomad guide covers visas, living costs, where to base yourself and what it’s like to work remotely here. I’ve also shared detailed reviews of two of my favourite places to stay in Chiang Dao: Dara Dao and MayamYay Riverside Homestay.
