The answer is obvious. Visit BOTH! After having spent several months on both sets of islands, I can only recommend that you visit both. They are both amazing. Although they often get compared, they are quite different from one another. So I highly recommend you visit both. But for deciding where to visit first, here are some pros & cons for both Madeira vs Azores.
